Mateusz is a space entrepreneur and engineer committed to advancing human presence beyond Earth. As vice president of ESF and a member of Mars Society Polska, he’s played a key role in developing projects such as the European Rover Challenge and Poland’s early exploration strategies.
He co-founded and supports several high-tech companies (ABM Space, Waven, EX-PL Space Mining), contributes to ESA Mars navigation consortia, and is a strong advocate for the development of space mining policies in Europe. He’s led or advised student teams in major competitions, and has spoken at events including Breakthrough Discuss (Stanford) and international science forums.
His field work spans from Mars terrain simulations in the Sahara to Alpine glaciers. His work has earned top honors in innovation challenges like the Airbus-Merck Space Exploration Masters and the InnoSpace Masters in Berlin.
