The Hub cooperates with the administration and emergency services to respond more quickly and effectively to threats such as floods and fires, as well as with technology providers to create products that genuinely enhance civil security. The ambition of Civil Security Hub Poland is to strive for the most effective use of innovation and to break down organisational and technical barriers.

Who is behind Civil Security Hub Poland?

Civil Security Hub Poland is backed by scientific and technological partners and experts from institutions such as the Crisis Information Centre of the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences, CloudFerro, ICEYE, Warsaw University of Technology and the European Space Foundation. It combines scientific knowledge, technological resources and practical experience in cooperation with emergency services and public administration.

The European Space Foundation provides business and communication support in disseminating the results of CS Hub PL projects to ensure their wider use and raise awareness among key target groups of the potential of satellite technologies in the field of civil security.

What does Civil Security Hub Poland offer?

Civil Security Hub Poland provides access to innovative solutions based on satellite and drone data and offers operational support. A key element of the Hub is the Innovation Pipeline-as-a-Service model, which creates a space for testing and implementing products that meet real needs. By organising training courses and trials based on realistic scenarios, the Hub strengthens the competences and operational capabilities of users. The Hub’s activities also promote the development of good practices and the creation of systemic mechanisms for the adoption of innovations in the field of civil security.
